Meet the girls: Find us and follow us – find the Miss Scotland finalists on social media

Instagram, Twitter and Facebook are great ways for our finalists to reach out to their community and for their supporters to get to know the girls.
Last week Stephanie Dunn shared her charity story from her local newspaper, Hamilton Advertiser, through her Facebook and Twitter pages. It was retweeted and shared and gave a local news story far greater reach than it would have ten years ago.
This morning on Twitter the results of another finalists charity event could be seen – Romy McCahill movie night raised £1500 for Alzheimer Scotland @alzscot. It’s wonderful that she was able to share the total amount with everyone who supported the evening – and immediately let the charity know what she had been up to.
Social media breaks down so many traditional barriers and it’s a fantastic way for the girls in our final ten to share their message with a bigger community, and to inspire the next generation of Scottish girls.
